Building on the knowledge introduced in our shorter course, This is Easy Read, the Foundation Course in Easy Read offers an in-depth exploration of this accessible information format for people with learning disabilities.
This course delves deeper into each aspect of Easy Read, covering advanced topics such as writing techniques, sketching, the effective use of pictures, design principles, co-production methods, and information-sharing strategies.
Delivered online for flexible learning, the Foundation Course combines videos, interactive exercises, and assignments. Designed to be completed at your own pace, the comprehensive curriculum requires around 20-25 hours to complete.
Giving you everything you need to succeed and develop your Easy Read practice, the Foundation Course now includes 90 days of access to the Photosymbols library for new customers, and dedicated online support from our tutors.
Upon successful completion, students will be awarded the Foundation Certificate in Easy Read, a prestigious addition to your CPD (Continuing Professional Development) portfolio. This certificate signifies a significant achievement in mastering Easy Read and prepares you for a leading role in creating accessible information.
